|Fine title, and it's his pensiveness while walking the dogie, walking the line in this dry, beautifully empty country that fixes my appreciation. I like the soft, unpretentious colors, the everyday serenity, the surrounding immensity. Is the man too centered? That his gaze is down gainsays self-importance, and is a counterbalance. The diagonal angle of his motion also mitigates. What's on both his left and right is important and engaging. This isn't criticism, just addressing a thought. The strength of the image certainly carries the artist's judgement.
My favorite in this challenge.
