I stepped outside of my comfort zone and shot in our TinyTown's bookstore with my cellphone. Edited one. Entered it. It was decent. Had a child and lots of books... but... it wasn't "me".

So, I folded an old book we had upstairs into a heart.

MUCH more... "me".

I hope you like it better than the bookstore one.
:D
As I was folding, I checked how I was doing... this being my first book folding... and was dismayed to see that I wasn't doing a really great job of it. The heart was not in a perfect outline.

But, now that it's finished... I like it better than if it were "perfect" since it's an old book.

Maybe if it were a pristine, new book... I'd need to have been more "perfect".

ETA: I just searched for Books I challenged... was flipping through and... found that I'd won 4th place in it! I was so surprised that my image came up as I was clicking through. Ha!

Buster is long gone... I still miss him.

P.S. The book is "Hope of Earth" by Runbeck. I folded it into a heart/love.

I'm not usually sappy... but I love it.

Or... am I usually sappy? You've got me wondering now...

P.P.S: WHY does my daughter have TWO (or more?!) books with no titles on the outside in her "old room" here at home?
I didn't clone out the titles.

I'm glad she does... but... WHY!?!

I love the heart being imperfect.

Perhaps the books you used would have had the paper slip covers when they were new and just a plain hardback underneath?
