 Trying to get back into the swing of this as I've been away so grateful for any pointers to help me. Typical Lake District weather - wet and windy - so planned shots failed to materialise. Struggled with light - especially as washy able to carry tripod.

Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that does not meet the challenge

Although you have a pleasing composition, I feel this is more of a landscape with water than what the challenge should be about a waterscape, i.e., where the water dominates the image. What I think could have worked a lot better would have been to go in really close to the water with a wide angle lens and really make that water dominate the scene. I think the section just before the bend at the right angle and close enough you could have made that look like a giant waterfall…?
