A Green Heron (Butorides Virescens) catches a spider right from it's web on the West Fork of the San Jacinto river. Taken from my Ascend H12 kayak near Lake Stubblefield, Texas, USA.

Really wish the spider was in the DoF also, so not sure how this is going to do...............

A great image that contributes to the challenge well

Ah the green heron again! I agree with you about the spider’s focus but its still a great image Ronnie and the spider is detailed enough to be an integral part of the image so it adds impact it doesn’t detract which is the all important consideration. Its a very appropriate contribution to the challenge, well done again Ronnie
