Friday morning, October 20, 2017, Theta Delta Chi held their 33rd annual Greater Budweiser Open. Equally impressive as the continuous string is the fact that they gathered at the ungodly hour of 7:15 in 55 degree weather (but such is the bonds of brotherhood). Organized by Roy Dunn, the event took place at Fords Colony Country Club. (Skip Rowland '83)

LOL, it's been over 3 years since I've entered a challenge...and just before rollover, the guy in it bought a print! Won't affect the score, but definitely reminds me not to worry about my inability to ;-)

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that meets the challenge

Welcome back Skip! And what a comeback… The composition and timing is a delight. Too often the temptation is to go in close on the action and concentrate on that whereas the bigger picture can often have more appeal and impact. The quality of the light too is the essence of your lovely image, it highlights the undulations in the land together with those lovely shadows it works very well. Congratulations for your high score and placing, I hope we will be seeing more of your work again…?

For a golfer (in my younger days) this is so nostalgic for that late afternoon finish. Love the light and golfer's pose.
