 Repeat after me: Do not leave things for the last minute !!!
Almost didn't get this in. I have "the original" but used ferns that I took some time ago, and I assume they wouldn't have passed scrutiny should this image need ratification. So I had to shoot new ferns and re-do the edit. Not such a big deal if I had not left it for the last day. Still prefer the first one, but this is what it is.

Oh my word! First red ribbon! What a week I am having on DPC :-) Thank you to all.
According to maths this week will be followed by disaster votes of course :-)

I still would like to know from the voter who gave me "1" why s/he thought this image was so bad and not suitable for the challenge - just for my own education in what voters see/want here on DPC.

Congratulations, and ... wow!

Don't fret the 1, it will drive you nuts. I have a '1' on my highest rated image ever as well (Blue at over 7 avg), there's no pleasing some people.
