 Found this little guy behind my apartment complex. He wasn't happy I was taking photos of him but I somehow ended up with a shot that I liked before he jumped into the lake just to the right of the frame.

Not sure how this will do. I'm worried I oversharpened it but I can't for some reason tell if I did or not with the monitor that I'm using at the moment.

An appealing image that meets contributes to the open challenge well

Congratulations Marko for your ribbon, very well deserved for such remarkable image. What really makes the image is the tremendous detail from the lovely sharp focus together with the shallow DOF that helps it really stand out. Your composition is spot on, I love the surrounding foliage it is all so convincing. I think there is a very slight tendency towards over-sharpening but it really does not deter, it certainly shouldn’t be confused with the lovely rim lighting on his back. A great image thanks for sharing.

Not overly sharpened at all, IMO

Wow, NG worth photography. Really like the colors and brightness in this picture. The use of a black border doesn't add more to the picture, it feels more that it's locked up in his own world. I won't vote you lower for that. So, you get my 10 and my Red Dragon Award.
