 I've been without a camera almost all fall. Got mine back early in the month and then there was crappy weather. Finally got out the day of this challenge to take a walk - saw that Macro was up and put on my macro lens. Got nothing that was really macro - way too windy - but then I found this leaf. After taking a few shots of it where it lay on the sidewalk, I decided to pick it up and look for a better background. So I walked on home, looking for relatively clean cars with nice colors, still in the fast fading light, to put it on :)
My thanks for the votes - this is a two image focus stack (hand held).

Apologies to the Macro purists. Thanks to others who enjoyed this for what it was.

This looks like it is floating on water. I love the detail of the underside of the leaf; my kind of image.
