Years ago I had a pair of bluebirds that visited frequently. It was the reason that I started photographing birds. It was incredible watching and learning, and I enjoyed them immensely.

They were my first dq. And I even got a bluebird shot onto the national geographic "your shot" website.

When they moved on, I missed them desperately.

I'm studying to become a master naturalist and am doing the Cornell University project feeder watch. So I got the bird feeders back out, and I actually have 3 bluebirds that have been hanging around eating my suet! I am so excited to be revisiting my old friends - working with the bluebirds again. I'm hoping they stay around and nest here in the spring.
