 My dad. Again. It's difficult to get a face that doesn't have a vacant look to it do to his Parkinson's. This is a split second when he's trying to say something.It gets bottle necked...stuck on the tip of his tongue. To me it has an earnestness to it, and perhaps a pinch of sadness. I find it difficult seeing him run down. I can't imagine what it's like for him being trapped inside a body and mind that isn't cooperating.

A fine study of this gentleman with a clear-eyed gaze. He seems just about to say something, to continue a thought, a conversation that began before the button was depressed. He also has an elfin quality. That's a lot to convey in a portrait of an instant, and it's well accomplished.

excellent character portrayal. here is a person of interest, and the photographer is using his light and lens to show us how marvelous it is to see such a person.

Great focus and light. The crop seems a bit... ummm... "crowded" to me though. Love all of the other stuff!
