As I wake up, looking up then down, journey the mostly abandoned city, encountering few lonely people, I think I could hear it - the murmurs that transpired.

I like the somewhat reserved black and white square format - it serves as a visual echo of what murmurs are.

The title is somehow misleading.
The stillness and soundless of these images is captivating. It's as if they emerge from a huge ice block that you sliced randomly.

Wonderful essay. These slices cut deep. Each image is nicely layered and there is a fabulous senses of zooming in and out. Excellent. As always, thanks for sharing!

No parking anytime - Li Li Anna - Pell Hair Salon - and all that between morning and night with "Murmurs" as a title... all that reminds me of the movie "Bruce allmighty" when Bruce is overwhelmed by the multitude of whispered prayers. This essay is like a frozen moment betwen payer #24778 and 24782. The fact that a person was killed by a falling tree is another frozen moment which doesn't belong to you. Or us. Or anybody. Very strange thoughts, isn't it?
While watching this essay I feel like I'm entering your personal space and I want to apologize.

have you ever seen one of those videos where somebody says they're going to prove God by showing that the Universe is made of math?? and then talk some nonsense about golden ratios and the number of rows in a corn cob... you're the only person who is showing us that the world and everything in it is made of math, and that math is breathing.

There are a few in here that make you just stop and think. The image of the shadow of the man is great, but the image of the mothing and sun was perhaps the best in the bunch. Great series.
