 I shot only one rodeo this past year and got pitifully few shots. Still, managed to get this one from the stands, a far cry from my usual space crouched by the arena.

Anyway I did discover some interesting angles from up there, as shown here.

post-challenge...Well guess I better hang up the camera if I can't get anything more than a 5.1. Maybe it's cause the title should have read 'steer wrestler's horse' - I had roping on my mind!

Susan, I'm sorry for your disappointment but also I'm sure you had much stronger shots than this from the past year? It does emphasise how a strong (or weak) viewpoint can completely transform the image. I think I know where you are coming from, sometimes I too have images that I see in a different way seeing strengths in it that others can't, it would be interesting if you want to talk it through?
