I may have taken a hammer to a pair of my wife's readers. She'll never miss one pair. She buys them in bulk -- multiple packages at a time from Costco. The house is littered with them.

Here's an outtake. I like the "blood", but I felt that, other than that, the image I entered was a bit stronger. I should have experiment more with the bloody shots, but I was working quickly. If my wife would have caught me breaking her glasses and smearing Hershey's syrup all over the bathroom floor, there might have been an opportunity for a much more realistic Forensic File shot.

He stuck his nose in where it didn't belong. Uncovered evidence of high level corruption and threatened to blow the lid off of their whole operation. Did he think they would just sit back and wait for the indictments? Was he that naive? The final question: was he clever enough to have an insurance policy - a dead man's switch, so to speak?

...on the other hand, maybe he was just overworked and died of cardiac arrest.
