 As a physicist, I felt compelled to enter this challenge. I even decided to execute a staged photoshoot (which I almost never do these days). My idea was to shoot a wheelchair against a starry sky. Unfortunately, by the time I found the wheelchair and got around to do it (3 days before rollover), normally clear San Diego sky got cloudy and remained completely overcast up until the deadline. So, I had to come up with Plan B :).

ETA: Thank you all for the great score and nice comments! Looks like plan B worked out okay... ;) I still wonder, if my plan A worked, would I finally be able to break into that magical 8+ territory (I was tantalizingly close for several days)?... we'll never know
