Can his comments get any better ;) - StreetpigeonWonderful image. It would still be fine without the tilt-shift effect, but here the spoonbill (I think) just landing is imbued with dignity, wonder and intimacy. The width of the tilt-shift is perfect. The back wing blurs into the shoreline, or raft of water vegetation, as do the feet just disengaging from the silky cloud of reflection. The sharp zone also features the clumps of vegetation and the anchor of the farthest left vegetation. The bird's mate and chick move dreamily just out of reach. The disposition of light and dark is interesting and harmonious. The background strip has the feel of looking edgewise into a galaxy.
Personal favorite of the challenge.

Nice use of the technique although I would prefer the image not be tilted. Anyway 7.

Very artistic and beautiful. I like the artistic application of the tiltshift (and tilt) and not the traditional miniaturization.
