This photo had a lot of potential but with a little bit more attention it could've been great instead of just alright. I wish the dog was looking the same way as the boy, I wish I could see a lake or a pond that the boy was fishing into and I wish the processing was more Norman Rockwell style. Kudos to your model though.

Very nice, I like this a lot. The composition is very well done, I doubt he will catch many fish with no fishing line :-)

Excellent! I would have cropped out the top a it but some great details here. Bare feet and a crop might have pushed it into a blue ribbon but still will be on the front page regardless. Excellent exposure and colors.

Your composition is my favorite of the challenge. It has a Huckleberry Finn feel to it. I could imagine Norman Rockwell setting up this image, photographing it and painting it. Well done and deserving of the Blue ribbon. 9
