 I entered a shot of this same tree back on April 13, 2004. It’s interesting to see how much better this image is versus the digital camera (Canon 20P) I used back then. Interesting also was that that entry (“Foggy Morning” in the Silhouette challenge) scored a 6.43 and came in 18/169!

Do you see the vertical line of the tree?

To me it appears to be perfectly on the line of thirds.

The leading line of the land point balances the image perfectly.


So... I see a perfectly composed image. And I don't understand how this fits an "Out of Balance" challenge topic.
