To my wife Heavy (Evelynne) Congratulations on your 5th place (BTW mine came 4th in Low tech) we won't mention that yours scored higher ;)

So the race is on for the first ribbon!

Very artistic shot and very well presented.

Hmmm, what can I say that's bad about this photo??? Thinking, thinking ... you should used different frames, yeah that's it! OK, I take all that back and in return I will send a ribbon your way. What can I say, I really, really, really like this Photo. Love it, hope it brings you a ribbon.

I really like the funky colors along with the great composition. I think sticking the corners of the two biggest frames just outside the shot looks better than keeping them in would.

You have a very creative compostion here. I really like the setup and the colors you used. Just wondering why you decided to crop off the corners of the large frames? Not that I don't approve, Just wondering:)

I love the colours and composition, I am not sure what core I voted on as my eyes went funny after stairing at the screen for more than 15 seconds.

I like how you build up symmetry and break it down at the same time. The two lower frames look as if their sides were mirrored by the green-orange frontier, but in fact they are so by one single point. The large double frames lie at the same angle on their respectives sides, but they vary in heighth.
The one frame I don't like is the upper one. It' not perfectly symmetical, yet not rotated or shifted enough to suggest the opposite.
The reflections are fine, but I'd have liked to see them on every frame, not just on the two big ones. You found a good intensity of the d´shadows. They're not too hard, just strong enough to suggest that the frames stand out from the paper.
Well done, good use of various techniques and nice composition, yet I have to admit it doesn't really appeal to me. Perhaps it's just too constructed. Yeah, yeah, there's no way to satisfy me ;). I hope the comments are useful to you. 7.

Revisiting this photograph.

I think this is quite remarkable. The background seals the deal so to speak for me. The frames are shot from an oblique angle yet the background gives the illusion of being shot square. This is a masterful composition. I think you could have brightened the colors to give it more pop as they are somewhat subdued as it stands. Overall excellent. 8

Wow ! Very bold composition ! Symmetrically draws the eye into the pattern and dazzles with contrastibng lines of colour. Very neat !

Ooo! This is a fun shot. It's well-composed, colorful, and I enjoy looking at it. I feel I really want to see the corners of the two big frames, though maybe there's reasons for having it this way. If you do want to cut them off, maybe a bit farther in so they're not just nicked?

I think this will be a winner. I really do. I like the colors, your focus and clarity are great, your angle and set up is great. very visually appealing and you have 7 of the subject. I feel like I should request the original now, cause I'm just going to have to do it when the challenge ends and you place in the top anyway. lol. beautiful shot. congrats and good luck in the challenge. not like you'll need it. ~Heather~

interesting, but something about the composition doesn't work for me. also would like to see a wider crop with no clipped corners or maybe a tighter crop...
