 Years ago we had a dog with diabetes. She needed to be fed 3 times a day and I had to give her insulin injections twice a day. Needless to say we couldn’t travel far from home in order to care for her. So we would go to antique shops in the area to give us something to do. One day we saw a ceramic sculpture of a woman and learned that she was a flower vase. We liked her and brought her home. Doing some research we found out that Lady Head Vases were made in the 1950’s and 60’s and sold to flower stores. The variety is endless. We started going to all the antique stores within easy distance from our home and made it our hobby. We no longer buy lady head vases but enjoy looking at our collection.
