 Isaac and I went to a big party/open house at another print shop -- they had a piñata for the kids, and this was just after the blow which broke it open and started the feeding frenzy.

Weird, low lighting and show without flash. Lightened it somewhat with one RGB curve, brought out some detail with 4 applications of USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH=3; JPEG=6/10.

Not a little, but a lot -- still a "photojournalistic snapshot" of something in the process of being broken.

I should have tried it in B&W to deal with the color-cast issues; I'm not good at color adjustment anyway, and it was shot in very dim light from a variety of industrial and decorative sources. I'm surprised I got it as in-focus as it is.

Victory is ours! And to the victors go the spoils! I really like the idea and based my vote on that alone. I must say I thought it could have been done better.

That has got to be the creepyest pinata I have ever seen. I would be too afraid to hit it because I would be in fear of it drowning me in my own blood then wearing my skin.

A little busy. The kids kinda take your eye away form the (assumed) subject of the shot, the pinata. White balance also appears to be off a little. YOur people are kinda orange.

Looks like a fun time. I believe your camera's white balance may not have been set correctly, as you have an orange cast to the shot. -danny
