 The motivation for this picture was easy to find. I was due to be in Vegas from 17th - 21st to celebrate my 30th Birthday, however the snow had other ideas. The trip was cancelled, the piece of paper in my hand was the flight and hotel cancellation notice! :0)

I know this is an old challenge, but I am new to the site. So, here is my comment now... I absolutely LOVE this shot. Stirred up a lot of emotions in me. The feeling of despair of coming home and finding all her stuff is gone! Brilliantly captured. Love the coat hangers. One critisizm, the model is little fuzzy, while the focus is one the reflection, I don't know if this was on purpose... Great work!

Good concept.
The floor shines, this introduces an element of tidiness and work that contradicts despair.

Somehow those empty wire hangers make this shot even better for me. Awesome positioning of your model, and the light is perfect. Very depressing to look at. You hit the target!

Very nice image. I like the use of shadow in the floor as well as the hurt that can be seen through the image and the subject. Great photo.

Great shot, you have managed to create a cool effect of the reflection on the floor. It looks as if there is water on the floor and the reflection is swimming. Good job! Without all that foreground this image wouldn't have the same impact.

This was very well thought out and executed...there's no mistake about what happened here with the hangers placement. I love the reflection in the floor and your lighting is superb! This is definitely one of my favorites in this challenge!

The hangers and the reflection on the floor totally make this photo. Very well done, extremely professional and powerful. Just a little too much lighting on his feet, otherwise I love it.

Yes, this composition is SO good. Lighting and focus are pefect. B&w is the way to go here. One of my favourites this week. Well done and good luck. High score is coming from Sweden.

I like the use of empty hangers here. It makes me feel that he has come home to an empty closet. She's left nothing but the memories. Good composition and lighting.
