This is beautiful work. I love it. When I first saw it I thought you had used some painting effect in PS or Corel, but reading your comment I see you just used PS. Very nice!

Hello
like everyone else I like your photos. Tried this technique you describe but cannot see any difference between normal mode and color mode. Do you mean that there is a b&w photo layer under and color photo layer on top? I must have something wrong as there is no difference to a "normal" color photo.

This is a wonderful photographic. Everything is so crisp and clear. The colors all look really deep, almost unreal. Any words on what pp you did to achieve this photo?

Very 3d effect. The colors give a good sense of feel to this image and the perspective is just sweet. Well done.

Thanks so much for posting your process in this picture, it's really helped to capture the colors in some of my own photos. I love the dodging done in this photo to highlight the grass and girl, it really gives an excellent emotion!

You can also chieve this gritty, sharp effect by using a Gradient Map (mono grad) adjustment layer over the colour image at varying opacity, with the 'overlay' blend mode.

Very neat, irresistable technique. My only comment here would be that the treatment is strangely ominous given the subject. It suggests a drama that should be present but is in actual fact totally benign. This may be your intention(?) but for me it may be more appropriate to make this warmly rich in colour while retaining the clarity and definition that gives this shot it's appeal.

This has a terrific, painterly feel about it. I really like the mood here.

Heida, if you are not, one day, internationally renowned for your work then there is no justice in the art world. On second thoughts I'm pretty sure there is no justice in the art world :)...but we can hope anyway!
