interesting placement (cropping) but the sky is too nondiscript.

I like the face and the simplicity of the shot. For me however there is just a little too much negative space here.

Great catch and composition...would be better for me if the illumination on the "face" was a little better for contrast with backgroun...but very nice concept...and I am sure this will ribbon.

Very interesting placement of the subject. Normally, I would probably have preferred to have a closer, more centered shot, but I actually like it a lot this way. It sort of implies a subtlety on the part of the viewing stand...thing.

I get a kick out of it. Well done!

I like it a lot. You do have a lot of negative space here. A slightly tighter crop may increase the pop factor...

Awesome! I love this one!. I'm giving this one a 9. I wish Ithey had a 9+, but the only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it could have maybe been cropped just a little to give it a little more of a Wow factor. I really love it nonetheless!

I like what you did with the negative space. I'd be interested to see how it looks with a little less, though.

Wow what a capture! You could have avoided some of the sky by cropping it just bit tight..

I like the cloud layering. I might have tried for a different crop on the bottom to put the horizon at one third.

I think less sky would be good for this shot, but overall I like it alot! 10

I see what you were attempting,.. it needed a bit more breathing space on the left...just too much tension for such a calming picture.

My highest vote for the challenge. Good tones, good atmosphere and a good face. I find the cropping on the left a bit to tight though.
