Greetz to smokeditor and Sonda =)

Desaturated shot of wet disassembled bicycle gears that i got for free from a local shop, in panties by Victoria's Secret. Water drops made by hand with an eye dropper, that's why they look so unnaturally equal-sized.

Several (3 or 4) brightness/contrast adjustment layers with gradient masks to add hilights and shadows to repeat those of the female body on the original shots. I know the gears still look flat, but then again, they are.

Minor hand dodging and burning to stress the shadows mostly.Nothing extraordinary, really.

I gave up trying to make this look decent both on LCD and CRT, this is made for CRT.

Sorry, I really didn't 'get' this at all... (Maybe because I have an LCD monitor??!!)

I understand the concept better now. I would have bumped up the score. Nice image.

Can't say that the title does anything for me, but didn't vote on the title either.
Nice tone and composition! One of the best of the bunch.
Third round - bumping up ((9))

OMG! LOL! This is fabulous! I was just minutes ago looking at the Deja Vu tribute to smokeditor. Great parody, nice lighting. Brilliant.

I would have given this pic a 9 if you had cropped the lacy stuff off the bottom to show JUST the mechanical item. Love the contrasting light and dark though.

Very nice, good lighting.

The tonalities are luscious, but the light dropoff at the bottom seems arbitrary and the composition more chaotic than effective.

I like it, though a little more detail in the corners would have been good.
