Well with any luck this won't offend anyone, will make a couple of people laugh and will be recognised by all as a representation of a French flag.

I had fun with it - the most heavily edited of my submissions here (though that really isnt saying much) levels, saturation, selected the concrete on the right and hue shifted - I also had to flip the image because the sky was originally on the right).

Here's to Marion and Vanessa, my former roomates and fully fledged Frenchies. They will undoubtedly get a kick out of this!

I'm late to comment on it but I've allways liked this photo. Geometrically perfect, I like the different texture in each color. Good eye!

I think this is a great photo. One of my 10's during the challenge. I expected it to win as it was one of the best. Very nice work!

Great idea and nicely executed. It's definitely plays with your eyes. The colors and nice and vibrant. I love the texture in the red color and the shapes in the 'white'. Very well done.

You've got it in one. (I'm assuming your guess about my identity wasn't as spot on :P)

Just like to thank everyone who commented here - this is far and away my most sucessful shot here, and the feedback I've received has been really great. It's nice to see the irony wasn't lost on most :).

Considering some of the incredibly great work by some really terrific photogs in this challenge, I couldn't be happier with my placing.

Cheers

Anders

What a great idea, good eye!
I'm also intrigued by the question what the object in the middle is. Am I looking at something huge or something relatively small? And it has this grate zigzag pattern. 9

this picture is aesthically graphic and pleasing. I find it hard to see a connection to the challenge without the title however.

Marvellous! Maybe it's optical illusion, but even if red line is straight the blue seems to fall a bit to right.

What a neat abstract/Point of view photo... Was the buliding in the foreground red to start with, or did you tint it? This all assuming that I've got it right and these are sunshades on a high-rise building?
