Wow, thanks Denis.
Glad you got the jimi hendrix ref (well I hope that's what you meant by Jimmy) in the title, that's exactly what I was going for! |

I'm somewhat discriminating of titles and I have to say you are hands down the best titler i've seen here. Your headlines are concise and often basted with witty insights of philosophy and pop culture. I love em'!
Jimmy would have digged that sheen. 3 faves, nice! |

as a musician and photographer, I find this photo appealing on many levels.
Great use of color and good control of DOF. nice job. |

Another bokeh overkill, but not to worry. You have created a unique image whuth that abstract look and all is forgiven. Bumping up. |

I love guitar shots and yours is an excellent job. There is much here for the eye to feast on. The multi-colored lights in the background are a treat and the reflection of the lights on the strings/fretboard are a touch of genius. I wish more of the guitar in the foreground were sharply focussed, giving the eye a natural "home base" to return to. Still, the bokeh kicks ass. |

Maybe you got a little hooked on the bokeh idea - which I've also seen in many of the challenge entries here. I like the idea, but I think the DOF is too shallow since the only thing I can see, is the "Jackson" logo. |

all bokeh, no substance, in my eye. The picture's all about the blobs, the rest is incidental. seems backlwards to me. but stunning bokeh. |

The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Definitely present, and so colorul. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Somewhat. This shot feels a bit contrived, and I wish there was just a little more of the guitar in focus. Nice effect on the neck though. |

Very nice boken, round and colorful! I'd like to see just a bit more of the guitar, or jsut a bit more in focus. Nice image... |
