This is just grea. Really well done! I have to say your stuff has classic and appealing feel to it.

Beautiful scene. I'm not so sure about your choice to go with the dead-center vanishing point, but otherwise a great shot!

nice--great lines and coloring.

Dustin - as I said before, this is great! ; )

I'm sure you'll do well with it. It's a heavily processed shot, but it looks better for it. Good luck.

It's a strong photo with interesting colors and composition. But somehow it lacks a clear point of interest, perhaps also because the horizon is to centered in the frame. The stripes of clouds in the sky work well with the fence.

Excellent use of light and contrast.

Really nice processing, I like how the fence pops against the muted color of the sky. Great composition. Is the bottom half desaturated? I might have gone with taking out some but not all of the color there.

That is actually a very interesting photograph, and a good one.
It is though pretty clear that quite a bit of dodge&burn work has been done to it + some more stuff, but it comes out very nicely.

Good job!

The burning marks are a little bnit obvious on the fence, but it is still a great and effective shot with a perfect perspective -- 8.

That fence makes this photo work. Without it, this would just be a nice landscape, but with it, it's a really nice one. Excellent DOF and focus. Maybe the symmetry would be stronger if the lowest part of the fence hit the corner of the frame like the upmost one does. The title does not reflect how much the fence dominates the photo, something like "fenced out" or "fenced in" would be more appropriate. /9

a lovely image, but i feel the contrast on the fence is just a tad overdone. it has too much of a blown out, neat imaged feel to it (i'm not saying you used neat image, i'm just saying it has that feel).

Woa... that is very nice. Really surreal tones.

Well some will find the processing here a little too muc for their tastes. Not me!.... I almost skipped over this one because of it's uninspiring thumbnail, but sheesh, this image is completely brilliant. The illustrative feel of this image is magnificent. It looks too good to be true - and thats where it's sucess lies. You have taken what I imagine is a fairly ordinary scene, and transformed it into a work of art with some deft photoshopping. 10.

Wow, those colors are right out of Lord Of The Rings! Of course in the movies, that desaturated look was driving me nuts, but here it looks great. The only improvement I can suggest is that just like you have two tones in the sky, it might be better to have two subtly different tones in the ground too. But that luminous fence is just fabulous - 9

I'm rapidly going off this processed feel - but I'll make an exception for this shot. It serves the image perfectly, it's done with grace, it uses the centred composition marvellously, the slight unevenness in the regression of the fence adds just that touch of fantasy to it, and maintains the interest. Gorgeous stuff.

You've made that white fence really stand out. The road seems unnaturally lit though.

Very powerful image thanks to the way you have captured it and the post processing applied.
Good work

Beautiful effect, not sure about the central aspect, but I love the shot.

Nice compozition...interesting light effect...

Stunning shot - fence perfectly lines up the frame. Can't figure whether it is truly B&W or now. Need to fix this monitor! 9

Beautiful shot, love the leading lines of the fence.
01/18/2005 09:06:23 PM
Very nice low perspective, and amazing exposure! Must have been quite difficult with the white, bright fence and the dark earth and grasses. And the sky lit up on the right but so dark on the right..... I don't know what your post-processing has been in terms of exposure, and also if there's selective desaturation? In any event, it's a masterful job - 9.

Visually spectacular. Nice vanishing point composition & remarkable light. Maybe a bit too remarkable, but that's just my personal taste; it's still a beautiful photograph. 9.

I hate selective desat, but man I love this. Probably the best SD I have ever seen!!

Nice dodging on teh floor too, perhaps only bad point is the pure white fence, but I think it brings in a sens of fairy land which makes this work.
