Lovely shot with a wonderful viewpoint and good use of the lens. Tones are rich and exposure is great.

Brooklyn Bridge

Critique by Silver Fox

Composition was interesting and the use of the fisheye lens was an excellent idea for this photograph.

The visual appeal of the black and white (would also like to see this in color) image of the Archway, the Skyline, and the Clouds/Sky, is fantastic.

Focus is nice and sharp in the whole photograph, but especially on the Arch and Wires.

Photograph shows good imagination and creativeness.

The angle and lens that you used here to create this photograph was interesting and adds a dimension that I’ve never seen before in digital photography.

Finishing 13 out of 229 is not an easy thing to accomplish - Congratulations!
I hope to see more of your work in the weeks to come.

Regards,
Ed

Quite an interesting shot! A great use of the fish-eye lens. I'd be curious to see what this looks like in color. This is a refreshingly unique shot for the challenge!

came back to this after rating it and just realized - did you take it with a fisheye? Still left you with a 4 though, it's so hard to judge looking at it this way.

Very cool use of fisheye lens! The vigenetting at the corners is totally justifiable with this lens (I hope you aren't getting too many foolish comments on that!) Very nice job! 9 Swash

Excellent idea, it's spectacular! I love being able to see the city on both sides!! Whoot! Should have maybe tilted the camera to the left a lttle to even out the perspective. Nice one! 9.

Strange, but highly interesting perspective and composition. The use of such a super wide angel lens works great here. IMHO a little more interesting structure / contrast in the sky could have been helpful, but I can't change the weather myself too :-) Good luck for the challenge! - 9

Wow, cool fisheye effect. The lines and vignetting in the edge makes this a powerful composition. Excellent exposure, good sky, nice toning. One of my favs.
