I love this technique...
It was an extremely fogy night, I just did some croping, USM and a little bit of Neat image

The key of this technique is to create this blured mood, like in a fair tale...
In this photo that mood was done by fog, and nothing more.
Hope you like it! ;)

Holy hell: this is a stunning, magnificient shot. I, too, have a C-770; now I can boast of all that my camera (though, unfortunately, not I) can do. Awesome!

This is a cracking shot, one of the best. I now have a C-770 and after seeing this you have just inspired me to get out there with it.

SOME PEOPLE ARE SO JUDGEMENTAL! I think that you shouldn't have gotten anything below a five! For The SCORING! I look at and think that the people who voted something below a five for this picture are like Simon on American Idol and that means that they are judgemental! Sorry but they are and when I voted for you I voted a 10 for you so I am not one of the judgemental people!

Thank all of you for your comments! :-D
Some of you have mentioned that the pic is slihgtly off balance... I noticed that, and I thought that it's not so bad. Infact, I mean that it creates mood like you're standing right there.

Congratulations on your red. Here you used what is available to all. Of course, your accomplishment is to be highly extolled because your image is as pure as the pristine snow and what drove it to ribbon in the midst of so much bng material, is the sheer force of beauty. It is an image that weaves the feelings and senses with magic. Extremely outstanding!

Thank you very much! I really appreciate that you like my picture!

Wow, this is magical! I love it. The golden light filtering through to show insight on the foreground, the epiphany of glory. The mist in the backround showing the knowlegde that fades in the mist. And a golden bench for you to sit and enjoy it all. My only misgiving of this image is that it is about 100 pixels small of the full 640 (I like the large scale images). Still magical though. 10

Nice use of depth and lights. Good contrast, but I the "horizon-line" is a bit bended.

is the horizon tilted or is this on a hill? Awesome capture otherwise.

Superb. Brilliant effect - can't wait to read about it.

The only thing that bothers me is that it feels very, very slightly off balance. I think it's the fact that the bottoms of the central benches aren't even. A slight counter clockwise rotation perhaps. But ignore me - I think I'm just obsessed with symmetry!
