| I'm kind of shocked...but at least four other people are as well, too! I bet that if this had a perspective adjustment making the shot a bit more vertical on the left side might have gotten you a couple more 10s, but I still think this is great as it is. :o) |

An excellent study. I love the grainy feel to it, yet the roof seems very smooth and silky. The lamp has this amazing metalic sheen. The lighting is wonderful giving a gothic feel to it.
I might have removed the stains on the window with the clone tool but apart from that absolutely great. Very well done just beaten by one other shot in my opinion, a worthy 8 from me. |

| Title is bizzare and so is this scene, and thus make a good complement. I like the B&W treatment and overall the exposure is excellent as are other technical aspects of this dark, moody photograph. Well executed. 7 |

| This is a very good architectural detail. It manages to include several of the significant design devices that help define this building, but the photograph still doesn't seem too crowded or contrived. And in addition to its challenge-related merits, it is also a very effective and original composition, well photographed and then processed in a fashion sympathetic to the subject. 8. |
