A very dull day on the north Yorkshire moors.
My lense wasn't wide enough to get all of the arches :)

'Rustic' ... I'm not sure it's quite the word I would have chosen. Still, no surprise.

Got to the Bramhope Tunnel monument in Otley, and read the details. Go to Chapel-le-Dale churchyard, and read the details. Then go back to Ribblehead and shoot it again. This construction should be photographed in muted tones, against an angry sky. Just one part of the most expensive piece of railway on the planet - including the channel tunnel. That's if you count in terms of human lives, of course. It's a good shot, of course, and scores deservingly ... it's just that i think it should be freighted with it's history.

I had a feeling this was your shot. Sorry I didn't get round to commenting on it during the challenge. The arches, the wet stone and what light there was is enough to carry it off. Well done.

I love the placement of the subject in this picture. Not too high, not too low, perfectly cutting across the picture. It makes it streamline, and smooth, and gives off the feeling of fluidity. The darkening grey of the sky also adds to the dimension of the photo.

Being a left-to-right reader I especially enjoy the perspective. If this was taken in mirror image I don't think I'd like it as much.

My only slight negative is that I'm not too keen on the hill to the right. It breaks the fluidity of the architecture and sky and it looks a bit choppy.

Still a great picture though.

This is a striking photograph of an impressive structure. The composition/perspective is sympathetic & the framing/cropping emphasises the viaduct's character. 8.

?BobsterLobster. Very nice line and I like the contrast with the sky but maybe it would have been nice to see through at least one span.

Great shot, I really like the composition, might benefit from more definition in the clouds. Nice work.
