Movie Titles meets Faceless!

So I've done quite the research for this: Watched all of the old Invisible Man movies, listened to that queen song, etc. This picture is inspired by the original Claude Rains invisible man. I built a frame for a torso, dressed it, stood it on a PVC rod, and hung the glasses by wire. This picture has refined my cloning and editing abilities tremendously. I'm amazed how bad I was looking back on some of my earlier attempts. Made this picture B&W because the original movie is in B&W.

Gonna get hit by the "doesn't meet the challenge" but it was darn fun to do.

Not really sure why this didn't ribbon, very creative and really an incredible shot, great job nonetheless, ran into this again, when looking at "how'd they do that?" section, and just had to comment and add to faves.

James: Congratulations on your 15th finish. You are young man that is going places. Keep at it and nothing but the best awaits you.

Ok, 15th isn't bad, but I am surprised this did not get a ribbon... great shot!

Nice portrait. To me, the sun glasses seem pretty high up on the invisible face, but I don't know what the invisible person's face looks like, so I could be wrong =). The shadows towards the left side are a bit distracting. Very minor: wrinkle on the back of the collar. I'm wondering what this would look like with a pure white background (as apposed to gray). Excellent setup. 8

Very Creative and think this is a great photograph. IMO the sunglasses should be aimed at the camera a little more. But still a great shot.

Think you've hit the DPC formula on the head with this one :).

Fantastic Image - I'm sure some will complain about the uneven colouration on the wall, but for mine it adds a little something - some character to the image.

Clever, but there needs to be an actual human in the photo, and I can't see one.

Quite good!
There are however few things about it that bother me a bit.
a) The sunglasses sit unnaturally high (on the "face") and tilt strangely upwards.
b) You are too close to the wall, imho, and I don't like the shadow that falls on the wall to the left on the picture.
c) I don't like the wrinkled shirt collar.

And I might add that the tie is a bit too dark and that you should have adjusted the jacket a bit better. ;)
Otherwise, quite good actually.

I don't know how hard your setup was, but adding a smoking pipe or cigarette would just put this completely over the top. Maybe you can clone one in later to see ...

"Photograph human beings engaged in normal human activity" Where is the human being, or the activity? Amusing but not meeting the challenge by my definition.
