 Spock has had the Cone on for 3 weeks now and I have started to feel sorry for him. I got the idea of wearing one for a while to, so he wouldn’t feel all alone in the Cone of Silence world he was living in. Then it hit me, why not a picture for the Pain Challenge. It showed some pain and I felt it might be a good break from the other real pain photos. Maybe help people make it through voting with a tension breaker.
When I first put the cone on, Spock went berserk. He was running around the house with this smile and was so happy to see me with that cone on. I went outside and he ran around the yard a dozen times. I sat down and he just would not stop running. I finally caught his collar and he sat there looking at me. Just like in the picture. I think it was Quality Time for Spock. A nice memory.

great photojournalistic style shot. it doesn't fit the classic 'clean' background that a lot of ribboners get here. but very emotive, great idea. the dog looks like it actually understands what you were doing.

Hilarious shot! It doens't scream pain at me...but it is pretty funny. My emotional reaction when I first glance at this is funny, then a little sad for the dog for having to wear one of those! Pain doesn't necessarily strike me from this image. Fun shot though regardless.

The dog looks as if he was in pain, okay. But the man? He's rather showing the dog it's not that bad, isn't he? Well, I like that idea, even if it's only in my mind. The man shouldn't have worn that cap though. It's a pity his face is hidden. 6.
