Congratulations on a top ten. I knew when I saw this photo, it was a neat shot with a lot of implied pain. |

yes, those are my feet. I was holding onto the ceiling in the basement (nice water damage, huh?). I almost wiped out a couple of times during different takes. I was trying to tilt as much as possible without falling.

Nearly, I recon a there are a few degrees more ...
Great idea, and the capture works well, especially with the duotone... |

Lovely. I like your use of the spectator's anticipation. Technically it is very well done, too. I like the texture of the wall and the detail on the shoes. 10. |

Amazing concept, very inventive take on challenge. I don't like the square crop though, and wish the legs were more to the side of the frame. |

You have done a very good job of portraying the ultimate Pain without being graphic. Although I find this picture very disturbing it is extremely well done and I would have to say one of the best of the challenge. |

The moment before the fall sure is horrible, clever shot, hope your model was hanging onto something above ;) I like this a lot |

NIce quality to this shot. For some reason, it doesn't convince me that it's not staged... Something about the feet. |

Good shot! Good idea. I can actually imagine this person falling from the stool. and that wouldn't look or feel that "good".

This is an excellent idea and a good start, I think it would be about 10 times more effective if you had the wall further away and a shadow of the person stretching across the floor. My reason for this is because it could just be considered as someone falling off a stool and not suicide, with the shadow of the persons full body and a rope going up to a rafter from their neck, well, there simply isn't any confusion. |
