I honetstly cannot believe that this image did not win the blue. I just saw the results of the competition and I think this was the winner by far. Beautiful.

Sheesh - drove from sydney did you ? A trip down to circular quay might have been easier and got you a score nearly this good - but I personally wouldn't have been half as impressed - great job!

Validated? I guess it does have the impression of selective editing in the brightness of the water, though. Strong image, a little let down compositionally for me: I can't help thinking it would be enormously stronger for a crop at the bottom of frame: i think you're relying on a near-double symmetry, but that only serves to weaken the overall impact of that parkland and the flag, and undermine the strength of the sweep of those twin bridges. Won;t be surprised to see it do well, however.

I probably won't be able to get through enough voting to make this one count, but I'd just like to say good luck .... Before I started, I wondered if there'd be any Canberra (my hometown) bridges, and I just found two. This is the better one.

I love the way this picture was taken..the two bridges look awesome coming together. But hte best part of the picture is the shadows that are formed by the two brigdes.
