I was trying to mimmick Salvatore Dali. Trying to imply that we live in a strange and nutty world. A= the start- Bicycle is the means to an end. The hand is trying to catch up with the world around us. The background and foreground were purchased at a Arts and Craft store. The "Twig World Ball" is hanging from a string out of camera range.
Auto levels, sizing, cropped, unsharp mask applied.

I wish that ball of wire were sharper.

It's really satisfying to see this as you understand surrealism. tightly cropped and depth of field problem but elements and composition are making up for them.

Cropped a little too close at the top IMO.

good composition. The tumbleweed ball thing is a bit cut off at the top, so maybe a bit more headroom in this and it would be good.

Very interesting however the juxtaposition leaves me wanting. Looked at from a different view I detect the hand ready to recuve the straw ball. I just feel that the image lacks coherency in delivering a message. The effort still merits a 6

Too bad this shot as weak lighting and is mostly out of focus. Using a lower F/stop might help on the DOF to include every elements of this shot. a larger frame would've helped i think. 5

Very nice composition. I only feel it isnt focused enough on the back.

sphere seems out of focus.the noise on the wall seems somewhat surreal too.

the central object is out of focus

having the twine ball out of focus messes up the image to me

Very nice background but feels like the ball wouldn't fit by composition or due blurriness. Can't say. Surreal true. Too tight, perhaps true also, but can't say if the surreal feeling is lost if it's widened.

the ball of twiggs is out of focus but otherwise nice shot.......not extreemly surreal but definatly has the idea of it (most don't) so good work
