This is a very well done work, especially without advanced editing. Good contrast, very good detail, and perfect focus.

This is good, but the closeness and lens distortion are distracting.

What a terrific Image! I'm astounded by this great capture. It really makes me wonder what created all those strong facial lines. One of the best of this challenge.

Very animated. It actually startled me. I jumped a bit when this one came up. Translation - IMPACT. The focus on the nose looks a bit softer than the rest of the shot, but that is really my only complaint.

I am bothered by the fact that the tip of his nose is out of focus. It's crazy; who cares. Yet, it's such a prominent feature, and everything else is sharp.. I'm also bothered by the blackness around the eye in the shadow would have loved to see some detail here. I suppose in this strong lighting the choice was either lose detail in shadows or blow the highlights, and in the end, this is the right choice.

It's a haunting image - a really strong model with a really strong expression.

Very powerful presence. But those lines tell a story and far better to have a face worth listening to than mute beauty. A winner.

One of the coolest portraits I've seen in awhile. GREAT expression. Love the choice of a wide angle lens too, it really adds to the overall mood of the shot.
