I'm glad this won. I scanned through entries for this challenge and over all was very disappointed at how many were (to my mind) the kind of image that would have appeal to those featured (or those who knew them) but had little appeal to strangers.
This one stood out for me as being a universal representation of friendship.

| Well, if I had to pick a picture to lose to, I couldn't have picked a better one. Like I said earlier this makes me think of the tsunami survivors. It is a very well done and compelling shot. Congrats on the blue. |

| This is a very nice shot, love the sunset, and the children in the picture, there's just always something innocent about children in a picture, however, it just seems very staged to me. Not a bad shot though, great 8 |
