This photo looks a bit too dark. Also, it's not overly interesting - and the lemon looks green. BOL

This could have been a nice shot! You didn't cut the lemons nicely and you let them dry out!

Lighting is really hurting the end result here. Good Luck.

How long were those lemon slices sitting out? The lemon looks dried out and not appetizing at all. I think if the lemon was freshly cut, maybe a bit of water spritzed on them it would have been better. Brighter color, maybe softly lit from underneath would have made this much better!

Confusing, I think. The lemon lacks colour - it looks green, more than anything, and washed-out, muddy, and surely for stock that should be bright punchy yellow? whatever tthe container is draws far too much attention, especially as it contains the brightest highlights in the image.

Unique idea. The tricky lighting has been done very well I just don't know how much this image grabs me. I think I'll have to come back and take another look at it, as it is unusual and worthy of a second look before giving a final score.

it looks under exposed. In order to make this more interesting I would have like the see you crop in to only get part of the lemon with the black on the oppisite side and I would like to see the yellow color really pop, the color is dead right now.

While this might be a good idea, I think stock food photographs need to have delicate pieces of food to work.

Great photo, the only thing I can fault is the lemon.....it looks a bit dry, and not very fresh. Still give you 8 though, v nice lighting.
