Now that's a familiar sight - I have been an OB nurse for 30 years- never tire of this first glimpse of new life . Wonderful capture- you will treasure it.

And now I'm sure he's walking and speaking legible sentences. Hard to believe, isn't it? :)
And ten years from now he'll be running around with friends and he'll probably have a camera of his own.
They grow up awefully fast, but you'll always have the pictures to remember.
Well done. Way to take a picture!

Yep... I remember both my son's coming out like that... very intense way to watch a birth!

Also, I suspect that you son will "love" this picture when he is 17 and you are showing his girl friend!

congratulation! My, he looks sad! Shocking picture for a mother to be...Too bad not many people take pictures like this. I would be very curios to see myself minutes after being born.

I've just noticed your categories for this: Family and Nude. Shame we couldn't have more than two because Photojournalism is a must.

They'll be a shock in store for someone who's surfing Nude for some boobies!

Amazing - and you know what, his little expression shows that he has already seen what's in store for him - never seeing his Dad's face, just a lens.
: )

Seriously though you've proven yourself here. Welcome to addicts' corner!
