 This silly challenge appealed to me, but I couldn't come up with a good idea. Talking it over with my 10 yr. old, we stumbled over some words and it came out "Gruppies" (grapes+duckies). She said it sounded like a band and voila! "Rubber Ducky and the Grapes" was born.

A quick trip to the store for some supplies (grapes, sunglasses, foam board, material, etc.) and then taking most of the afternoon to set it up. (Have YOU ever tried to dress a grape?)

My three lights were the livingroom lamp, the Christmas lights (for "stage" lights) and halogens pointed at the ceiling. The water is in the mini water bottle (which all performers have on stage with them.)

This was fun.

Wohoo! How did you get that close to the stage? Whenever I try to take close-ups of Rubber "Rub Me" Ducky security messes things up. Btw, they're touring through Europe next year :) 8.

I like the composition. It is a cute picture, but the lights from the sides are washing out a good bit of detail on the edges. Maybe if you moved the grapes in some more, away from the edges... Anyway, cool picture. I think you did well with a creative take on a very restrictive contest.

I was going to submit, but I thought it was an April Fool's joke.
