I like the composition and perspective of this shot. The detail and texture of the foreground building is excellent and the disparity between the two buildings is perfect. Very well done!

Cool image. I didn't give this shot it's proper due during voting (forgive me, I was new). But, I can appreciate it much more now. :-)

Nice juxtaposition (I just knew I could use that word someday).

Interesting perspective and composition.
Well seen. (shame about the power line, but such is real life)

I like the way you removed the color from the ING building to emphasize the abandoned building.

I love the red building, but feel the inclusion of IMG as a humorous point difused its impact. If IMG were cropped out completely, I would have scored this very high on technical points.

ah yes. The old Bishops Block from the late 1700's on Simcoe Street in downtown toronto. Oh How Ive tried to get inside. Rumours have it that the interior is like a time warp. Frozen in time.

I like this photograph. The contrast between old and new buildings side by side. Terrific title. Like the color contrast of the buildings. Excellent focus and dof. Not much one can do with power lines in basic editing, but in this photo it looks like it is holding the abandoned building upright.

Oh, yes. the contrast between the old and the new. Good colors and nice composition. Would have been helped with a nice blue sky (bonus for clouds) but we shoot what we can find, and you found a good one.

Nice shot, cute title. Great textures in the brick. I also like the warmth of the old building compared to the cold feeling of the newer building. <8>

What an awesome contrast between "the old and the new". This would have been a great entry for that challenge too! The colors of the abandoned building really addas a contrast to the gray new one. Good job!

I would have liked to seen a wider angle view to carry the picture down to street level. I like the modern building in the background

I absolutely love the contrast between buildings. When you offer it as a print after winning the challenge, I hope you choose to clone out the pesky wire. Otherwise this strikes me as being about as good as it gets in this challenge, and there are a lot of very good entries. Excellent.

I like the color contrast and framing of this shot. I sure wish you could have cut that wire so it didn't spoil the view! ;-) I had a similar shot in mind, but you captured it so much better than I was able to! Great job.
