 I choose to submit this photo because I love the lighting and the colors. This is my daughter as we waited for our turn to swim with dolphins in Ixtapa, Mexico. The waiting area had this lovely filtered light. I felt the orange wooden piles would complement her glowing tan so I asked her to stand in front of them. She was a little apprehensive about swimming with the dophins as you can see by her nervous hands.

I used my 24-70 lens at 68mm. In photoshop I made a few adjustments in Raw, the original was very orange so I adjusted the color temperature and tint, and added a little contrast. Then, I applied neat image, sharpening a little. I cloned out some peeling skin. Finally, I added the border and darkened the edges.

The rest of the story...she didn't want to get in the pool at first, it took her about five minutes, when she saw the rest of us swimming around she got in and had a blast. Unfortunately, they wouldn't allow me bring my camera to the pool so the only dolphin pics I have are the ones that they took (for a price) with a really low res camera. It was an awsome experience.
