Thanks to all!

Alan - I was actually referring to standing in my garden after midnight doing this for a challenge.
: )
- but thank you for your kind words.

I see in your comment "I think I've finally lost it" -- my question is lost what? Your inhibition against taking awesome photos? :)

Outstanding image, wit & humor, technique. I think you were robbed.

To me this is the blue ribbon winner, since it's the first one of the top 5 that met what I considered to be the spirit of the challenge. Great job! Very much like my concept, but obviously more well received. Would like to know the setup - just scissors behind rock?

I'm sure glad I picked you as a favorite. You're making me proud! lol

This is a good image...it's creative, I like the lighting on the scissor, and the flash of light at the rock. the textures are good, as is the golden tone of the light..8

Great idea in using the light trails to set this off. I'd say you'll do very well in this challenge, though for mine the busy background keeps you just out of my top five. 8.

Very nice effects and warm colors. Not the most original concept, but very well executed. The final result is very good. Nice job.

Excellet Tones, Clarity and detail. One of my picks. You took a mundane challange topic and made it visually pleasing. The close in tight crop works well here. good luck.
