Borrowed a triangle from my son's music teacher, photographed it against the classroom wall.

I expect a lot of DQ requests -- I believe the methods are legal.

-RGB Curve (slight!)
-Rotate canvas about 60 degrees CW

a unique idea, but the border is very detracting from the image.
The actual triangle looks like it has been post processed too much.

Great idea for subject material. Let down firstly by strange black triangle border (I would think it would look better if there was a consistency in the texture and colour of the background across the whole frame. Let down further by very, very bad artifacts along all the edges of the triangle - there are whites, reds and greens all over the place.

mmh, there is something funny going on -- did you crop this triangle out of another picture? watch the settings of your USM if you used it and reduce contrast.

Fits the challenge, nice simple lines, but it's too overprocessed for me.

just a little too much paint program working here. Back off the sharpness that causes the white halo around the edges.
