Fantastic shot, a well deserved ribbon. On a personal note regarding the subject: I love the way the beaks have been trailing in the water. Too bad these guys aren't very granular, otherwise I think you may have had the perfect ribbon winning formula ;) You might have a shot at beauty though haha. Congratulations once more-

| man it warms me up just looking at this. the rich tones are perfect and serene. there are the inevitable compression artifacts around the hood feathers, but I'm betting this will be a phenomenal print at full resolution. well done, Tim. |

Beautiful and gentle.
The details of the feathers are so clear. the gold color makes this look so elegant.
The only thing that distracts my eye a bit is that bright area on the top left corner. I guess I would temp to try and burn it just a tiny bit.
Over all - wonderful! 9

| Absolutaly breathtaking. I could look at this one for hours and nver grow bored with the perfect gold water and the amazingly crisp ripples in the water. The silhouettes have a nice clean edge and just perfect. Without a doubt worth an 11. But they will only let me give you a 10. Great Job!! |
