I certainly didn't anticipate all the comments on the amount of water
on this rose. Artificially creating this environment never even crossed
my mind.

Actually, it's kind of funny how I found this shot. I headed outside to
try something for the 'Granular' challenge. I walked past the flower bed out front and this single rose JUMPED out at me! It had been raining the night before and the sun was just dancing off the water beads. I was SO
excited!!!

Later I was telling my wife about this amazing photo opportunity and she
says "was it that beautiful rose out front?" She had seen it earlier in
the morning and hadn't mentioned it to me?! Guess our brain waves aren't
connected on the beauty thing...I see PHOTO, she sees a gift from God.
Actually, I kind of like her way of thinking too. ;^)

Really nice! The water almost looks like ice - very cool, crisp, refreshing.

A superb shot.
While flowers may not be the most popular around, shots like this are a pleasure to behold. Thanks for sharing it with us!

I can never get enough of these types of shots and yours is magnificent. The water droplets are like glistening jewels. The POV, lighting and Rose shape make this the perfect shot.

Really had a hard time voting on this, the lighting is excellent but there are so many water drops it detracts from the image a. it makes a delcate flower image too phoney looking. There are two things that drive me crazy on dpc, bad high key lighting and water drops on everything.

Incredibly beautiful. Either you had a spray can or you live where it rains often... in the Great NorthWET perhaps? Anyhow this is wonderful and it most certainly has light as one of the key subjects.

This is quite nice, though in my opinion there is a bit too much water on the rose, still very lovely.
