Not to worry, I still have the RAW file. I worked in PS layers to produce this from the RAW, but I did not make an effort to bring out her hair against the background. Another good trick, besides those you mentioned, is to produce an "overexposed" version of the image using the exposure controls in the RAW converter (I use Capture One Pro), and then selectively combine that version with the properly exposed version to bring out underexposed areas, effectively expanding the dynamic range. I agree with you that this is the weakness of this image, so I may invest the time to try to address it.

my only gripe with this image, having worked with photoshop extensively is her hair is pretty much invisible against the black portion of the curtain. I wish i could see more of her hair highlights. She is a beautiful model indeed and very well shot. It has the essence of erotica and innocence. Perhaps you could use PS's dodge tool, or use layers and use screen overlay to bring her hair highlights.

I do hope you have not used contrast adjustment and saved the JPG, if so the image would be permanently destroyed of its original information.

Beautifully done. Lighting is excellent. Skin tones well done. Attractive model. Very nice composition. Has to be right up there close to the top of the challenge.

The pose on this one looks a little forced - the left arm looks to be hanging a wee bit unnatually. More of a bend would have helped, perhaps with her hand on the fron of her hip or across her belly. The lighting on this is absolutely without a doubt gorgeous, and I love that she appears to be 'doing' instead of just 'posing'.

Excellent capture this and what a beauty! Great pose and very effective extremes of black and white framing her.

an extremely beautiful model (please pass on my admiration) , but I would have like to have seen less of her. Yes, less. Cropped a little closer, into a square image, just above the waist, would have been a stronger image in my view. Its always bad to crop an image at a joint as you did here with her knees. I hope at some point you will be doing a close up of her face, as it is simply radiant. Would love to see those incredible blue eyes! <7>

If you've ever watched any horror movies, you would tell her not to go to the window! ;-)
Very beautiful and well done!

Nice photo. Lots of dark, yet, it's lit very well. Nice shadows.

I can't really see the beauty as much as I'd like to...she has a well toned body but the face is where the beauty is (specifically the eyes, which I just can't quite see). It's a neat idea, with the light pouring in from behind the curtain but it looks a bit too posed and unnatural for me.
