I am not sure whether this will have enough appeal to the folks here but a) it certainly fits the theme well and b) it was a personal challenge to get there and try to get a usable exposure. This amazing cave is in a sheer cliff face in the manifold valley of the Peak District. The rocks are not wet; they have been worn away and become very slippery by the numerous visitors to the cave. The figure (somewhat blurred due to the long exposure necessary) was essential to give a sense of scale to reflect the huge size of this cave. It was fortunate that the landscape was somewhat overcast because this very difficult exposure, leaving enough detail in the highlights and shadows, would probably have not been possible within the sites rules.
Minor cropping to remove a chain that some lunatic climbers have somehow put into the apex of the mouth of the cave! Three selects for the cave, land and sky each having their own levels applied and a fourth overall levels. I hope the end result is reasonably appealing but in terms of exposure it is probably better than I expected to get.

I don’t know what happened but somewhere along the way your computer gave me a whole point more than I expected or probably deserve but, I aint complaining, anyway thanks to everyone for all your supportive comments and votes.
I think we’ve found the lunatic climber haven’t we Falc!
I agree about the width of the crop but there were climbing ropes in the right hand wall that I could have cloned out but I prefer to leave cloning to the absolute minimum.
Thanks again folks, your support and constructive feedback are inspiring and very gratefully acknowledged.

Excellent work, good tonal range, and I like the motion of the subject. I predict top ten or a ribbon! Bumping up.

Nice natural frame. Is that two people or just one I see there? Your angle makes me wish you had moved a couple steps to the left so I can see what's going on down there!

good picture, feels a little tight on the right side. I also wonder if you could've gotten more contrast out of the sky.

Fantastic Image and had the dude been standing a bit more still, it would have been even better. I'm bumping you to a 7. Good luck!

The concept here is well thought out, Sadly, the people are distracting here, you need 1 peson to hold the attention, unfortunatly the 1 here has a rather odd pose and the partial friend isbetter of being no friend...

The rest of the image is great

Very nice! I like how the detail of the cave is still there, and the people in it gives it a real sense of grandeaur.

Incredible NATURAL! frame. I would have liked to have seen the people cloned out as I think it takes the attention away from very scenic frame.

This is absolutely AWESOME! You couldn't GET a better fit for the challenge, and it's composed in such a beautiful way! I love the tiny little people at the opening of the cave. It gives you such perspective on the size of that cave. So far, my first 10!
