Make it your 5th 5th. :) Congrats on the bump.

How come this looks familiar? :)
I was admiring your shot 'Repetition with variations for small child' not too long ago. Assuming this is the place, I like how you created two photographs that look stunningly different even though they contain the same elements.
A stunning image which will hopefully feel cozy next to it's 'sister' in my favourites.

I knew this was you, isn't this the same staircase you've used before to great effect in Minimalism? Congrats on a great shot and the top ten finish :)

I thought it was you, and I was going to say as much initially, but then I checked the ground and it looks a little different to your minimalism entry.

Congrats on the top 10 finish ;) I thought this was a fantastic entry

I was thinking this was e301, but I didn't have enough nerve to put it in writing. Great job!

A very nice b/w study. The leading lines are just outstanding. A very well chosen angle. Bumping up.

This is a beautiful shot. The lines really lead you to the girl. Good choice of black and white.

These steps are made for this challenge! The only way I could think this shot could possibly improve is by perhaps dressing the woman in a slightly less ordinary clothing to complement the surreal flow of the lines.

A 9 from me - hope this makes the top 10!

Alex

PS: This looks a little like e301's entry in the minimalism challenge!

easily one of the best shots in the challenge. the girl is key, without her it wouldn't be nearly as powerfull.

I like this one a lot. I don't know how many voters will understand the title, but it is clever. Nice range of lights/darks in this. Reminds me of e301's minimalism entry.

Great comp and grasp of the theme. The B-W lets the soft focus work.

Reminds me of E301's //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=169761 image.
A lovely use of lines, of strong light creating strong shadows and beautifully composed too.
Is the title a nod to the film/ book, Girl Interruped?

Fan-frickin'-tabulous! I don't care if you set this up, I'm almost sure that you did. I like the contrasty tones and the excellent composition. About the only thing I don't like are the girl's shoes...hmmm...who cares about that though, really. Good luck and have a good day.

Very sophisticated photograph. Beautifully composed and processed for maximum impact. Also love the title. All in all, I think it's just about flawless, and the most mature interpretation of the challenge topic I've seen. 10.

really like the b/w and noise. in my mind, that line from the bottom left is so strong, i can't help but wonder how things would have changed if you placed her closer to the top of that...that is if you had the ability to do so.
